Handwriting Progress

This week I have started my Professional Practice in Year 4, as part of my training I have taken on a handwriting group then throughout the 8 weeks I am on placement I can support the children to get their pen licenses and see their progression.

I started my session by doing a practice letter formation, then we did an assessment then I was able to identify where each children needed support. After looking through the assessment sheets I have now been able to draft a plan to support and challenge the children. This will ensure that my sessions are focused on the individual need of each pupil.
